10 of My New Favorite Things

It is that time of the year again. I just cannot keep it to myself. I have more new favorite things to share with you.

Yes Oprah is not the only one that has favorite things. I also have favorite things that I like.

Good Tips

1. Japanese Cherry Blossom Shower Gel, lotion, and body cream, layering

I like this shower gel. It smells oh so good. Since I no long use perfume or cologne this is just perfect. You can also take it a step further and use the lotion, and the body cream. This is called layering. I prefer the body cream to the lotion because it moisturizes better. It has 24-hour moisturizer and it feels really good. They are found at Bath and Body, but you can also find them on sale at other retailers. Other fragrances I like are Moonlight Path and Sea Island Cotton, but Japanese Cherry Blossom is my favorite. Might I add that they have Aloe and Vitamin E in them. This is an added plus for me. 

2. Banquet Chicken Fingers and Mac and Cheese

Did you know that the chicken fingers are made with 100% natural chicken breasts and real cheddar cheese for the macaroni, plus no artificial ingredients? This really tastes good.

3. Dollar Tree

I love dollar tree and although their prices have increased from $1.00 to $1.25 their products are still worth it. They had been $1.00 for a very long time. I can always find something that I like in there.

4. Eyebrow tattoos

Do you remember as a child putting the tattoos on your arm from Bubblegum tattoos? Well eyebrow stick tattoos are similar except you are putting them in the place of your eyebrows. They come in various size in the package. I love that they have a variety of eyebrow designs to choose from. Below is my Pinterest pin showing them and a picture of me wearing the tattoo stickers. Although some put the tattoos on one at a time, such as on the right then on the left. I cut and put them both on at the exact same time. This is so much easier for me.

5. Hoodies

I just recently started wearing Hoodies. Little did I know that they keep you very warm even without using the hood. I was so happy after I bought my first black hoodie, I decided to purchase 2 more 1 pink and 1 red. I am constantly learning new things daily.

6. Indoor Green Plants

I love my indoor green plants. The one plant was given to me by a friend at an event. It was just a few leaves in a cup, but see the picture below it has spread out all over my table. Did you know that indoor plants may help reduce stress levels, sharpen your attention, they can be therapeutic, help you recover from illness faster, and boost your productivity? Healthline.com talks about this. My husband has several cactus plants. I discovered that these cactus plants in the home cleanses the indoor air, lowers down ambient noises, and aids humidity according to indiagarden.com. So there is some benefit to having them indoors.

7. Lemon air Freshener

Do you use air freshener sprays? Well I discovered that lemon air fresheners are great. They do not make me cough like other air fresheners do.  There are also a lot of benefits from lemons so that might be the reason. 

8. Online Shopping- JC Penney, Walmart, Amazon

Do you remember the COVID-19 Pandemic? Well although it has been stated we are out of the Pandemic various strains of COVID are still around.

Well before COVID I always liked to go into the shops to touch and feel products. During COVID because of the lockdown I started doing more online shopping. I discovered online shopping was not so bad. In fact I rather enjoy it now. I discovered some of my favorite online stores are Amazon, JC Penneys, and Walmart. I can seemingly always find what I want and need at one of these stores. Also although I am not a Prime shopper at Amazon they most always deliver my product early. I do not mind the wait. I also like that they take a picture when and where they put your product and send the picture to you. That is just awesome. Plus most of the delivery persons I have encountered were friendly and nice. I do recommend Amazon.

9. Sketchers Shoes

I have several pair of sketchers. I learned about sketchers as I overheard several nurses conversation. They talked about how good sketchers felt since they were on their feet several hours a day. I decided to try them. I bought one pair and after that I was hooked. I bought several more pair. I have a special pair for walking. Besides the fact that they look good, they massage my feet, they have memory foam, and they feel oh so good. I accidentally ordered the wrong size and forgot to use my special coupon code. When I returned them, I boxed them and took them to the postal service. They weight the package and took the package with no questions asked plus Sketchers paid the postage for the return. They also returned the credit on my account by my first statement. I did not have to wait months and months. I like that you acquire bonus credits to use toward your next purchase at Sketchers. I know that I can now dress for comfort with Sketchers.

10. Wreaths

Do you like house wreaths? I love them. I originally brought fall and winter wreaths for my house? I discovered that there were spring and summer wreaths as well. I believe that wreaths make a home look inviting and so warm. I even ordered a Breast Cancer Wreath. When looking at the picture the wreath looked small, but when I received it I discovered it was big. I was really impressed by that because I like bigger rather than small.
