3 of My New Favorite Linkup Parties 2020

Did you know there are many linkup parties? Linkup parties and blogs are very beneficial to your blog site. You can receive exposure to your site while learning more about blogging.

                                                             Create Your Own Blog

Are you new to blogging? I remember when I first started blogging. The site that I was blogging at which was in 2008 was hacked numerous times. That was when I decided it was time to find another blog site. I am so glad that I did.

1. Content

When I first started blogging I was told over and over content is so important. It is important to post as much as you can when you can. Now that may mean different things to different people. I see some creating several posts a day while others may create a post a week. You will have to determine what works best for you. It may be somewhat of a trial and error period.

2. Education

Educating yourself is important as well. I started reading everything that I could about blogging and how to blog. There is so much information available online now. Different types of linky parties. I first heard about linky parties by video. I discovered besides video linkup parties there are various other linkup parties not requiring video. One of my most favorite inspirations was Lisa Irby. Her Videos showed when she was a part-time blogger and eventually became full-time. She has a website also, but I was really captured by her videos. They were so motivational.

3. Niche

I was also told to determine what my Niche was. For some you may need to wade in the water for awhile to determine your niche. What is it that you like? What is it that you just do naturally? For some their niche may be cooking, exercising or maybe coaching. I knew that I loved to write and I loved to help others. I was like a little kid when I found something that I liked or loved I wanted the whole world to know about. I love family and I definitely am very health conscious. Everyone's niche may be different so find your niche.

4. Social Media

Social Media can be very helpful to you to promote your blog. I have tried several different social media platforms. Even though I am on Facebook I have found Pinterest to be my biggest platform for driving traffic to my blog. Other social media platforms may include Instagram and Twitter. What is your favorite social Media Platform?

5. Pinterest Group Boards

Not only is Pinterest good for pinning the group boards are great for exposure. When I first started pinning I did not have a clue as to what I was doing. My friend and co-worker that invited me suggested I pin what I like. When I first joined my first Pinterest group board I was hesitant, but I have grown to love them. I have created numerous group boards and one of my favorite group boards is:

                                          Awesome Home Decor

I discovered I really like beautiful things about the home. I have 4,144 Pins and 18 collaborators. Just be careful when setting up your group boards because I learned the hard way when a collaborator posted undesirable things on the board. I ended up banning and blocking that collaborator. It took a while to clean my particular board up. Note there are those that would post porn to your board. Make it clear that no porn or distasteful posts are allowed. Let it be known that your boards are family friendly.

A. Blogging Well with Pinterest on Facebook- administrator Lisa Mitchell

I just discovered this linkup Pinterest Party on Facebook in May 2020. Although it is relatively new for me it is quite refreshing by linking Pinterest Pins which also link to your blog. The rules are simply stated and there seems to be a theme to link daily if you want. I will keep you updated as to my findings here. I find it to be quite organized and Lisa is always giving you a daily tip to motivate and encourage you. I am quite impressed and do recommend this site highly

B. Generally Informed Linkup (Happy Now) -Administrator is Jen

I have been posting at this blog linkup since 2019. Although you can only add 2 posts at a time. This blogging linkup party has been consistent. I post there weekly. I also follow Jen on Pinterest. She has a very interesting Pinterest site. She is a mom, wife, and author. Her co-host is Leslie from play-dates to parties. Just remember to read the rules and follow them.

C. Hearth and Soul Link Party- Administrator April J. Harris

I started this linky party February, 2020. I really like this linky party linkup. It is to find or even to navigate on. I also follow April on Pinterest. This linky party stays open for 6 days at a time. Some linky parties only stay open 2 or 3 days. So that is something to be aware of. This is a wellness and soul linky parties. You will find a variety of things here that feed the soul. You will see great recipes, diy, crafts, and traveling ideas. She does feature posts from the previous week of bloggers that had the most clicked links. consistent and well organized. There have been some linky party sites that are difficult

6. Evergreen Blogging

Finally do not forget about evergreen blogging. I talk about this in my post article

                              Why I Like Evergreen Blogging

What is evergreen blogging? It is content that is long-lasting and will stay relevant throughout changing times. Holiday content may be relevant during the holidays. Special events happening may be relevant for that event, but evergreen contents such as “How to content,” religion, videos, tutorials,or problem-solving content may be around a lot longer. When you write your content think about will it last 7 months, 11 months, or even longer.

Thanks so much for sharing these helpful tips especially to those bloggers who are just starting out.

It was only this year that I realized how important it was to have a clear cut avatar to focus my posts for. It was then that I wrote as if to "one" person keeping my content related to my niche.

Link up parties were integral in me becoming a part of a blogging community. In fact, there are women I have never met and may never will meet in person who are some of my closest friends and that all happened through participating in link-up communities.

I enjoyed my visit here! :-)
