Gratitude is the best attitude |
***Thankful***
How Is Your Attitude?
Have
you ever had someone tell you, “I don’t like your attitude?”
Did you know that gratitude is the best attitude? Possibly we all
at some time during our life time have had a bad attitude. I recall
being in a position of dealing with many different computer systems.
I did not like computers. I kept asking God, “Why Me?” Then
God revealed to me, “Why not you?” I did not realize that God
was preparing me. We are living in an internet age. Computers are
everywhere. I was not a programmer, but I learned so much from
programmers. I have since changed my bad attitude. I am grateful
that God saw what I did not see and prepared me. I am thankful.

Flint – Lead Poisoning
I
never thought I would see a time where our Flint water was poisoned.
When this occurred, there was a lot of anger that this happened to
us and that there were those that attempted to cover it up. How
many know that what is done in the dark will come to the light. Now
we could hold on to this attitude of anger and bitterness or we can
attempt to move forward doing everything that we can to improve life
for ourselves and our children. Is it easy? No it is not, but then
life is not always fair either. I am so thankful that Dr. Mona
discovered the lead poisoning. I am thankful for those around the
country that came to Flint’s aide, because we may have taken water
for granted. Water is so vital for living. How is your attitude
after the lead poisoning?

Covid-19
Now
it was not enough that Flint has endured the lead poisoning, the
world is now faced with the Covid-19 pandemic. This has now gone to
a different level. People all over the world are dying from it.
We definitely are not happy about it, but as we go through it, what
is your attitude? Is your attitude that of doom and gloom? Or is
your attitude you will make it through this. I do not know what the
future holds, but I do know who holds my future. Proverbs 18:21,
Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it
shall eat the fruit thereof. Those are God’s words and I believe
it to be true. Regardless to what circumstances look like or feel
like I have hope of a better tomorrow. How long will it be before
the pandemic is over? I do not know, but I still hope for a better
tomorrow and know that our nation is coming together to overcome.
We will survive. How many survivors are out there?
Remember
you can change your way of thinking and keep that body moving.
