Encourager VS. Complainer

Everyone likes to hear encouraging words. There are those in this world that complain about nearly everything. Do you know someone like that? How do you feel being around someone like that? Do you know someone that can find something wrong with everything, but nothing good about anything? Then there are those that encourage you daily no matter what. There are those that will have a kind word for you even though you feel you performed terribly. Which one are you; an encourager or a complainer? Think about it.

***You Can Change Your Way of Thinking*** ***It Is Your Choice***

Let’s take a look at these 2 different attitudes. . .

1. Humble

The complainer might say, “You don’t do . . . . whereas the encourager might say,
I am so thankful for you

2. Looks

The complainer, “You need to lose weight”. . . the encourager, “You look very nice, I like that suit.

3. Comparing

The complainer, “Why can’t you be like. . . The encourager, “I am so proud of you.”

4. Performance

The complainer, “You should have done. . . . The encourager, “You did a very good job.”

5. Nothing Done Right

The complainer, “You can’t do anything. . . The encourager, “I like the way you.”

***Note***

What is Encouragement?

Encouragement is honest and true things you can find to say about someone. Encouragement can come in different forms. A smile can encourage someone. You can even encourage yourself.

I try to be an encourager and keep a positive attitude for the most part. Sometimes it's not easy though! Thanks for sharing with The Blogger's Pit Stop!
