Have you ever thought about how it is that AI (Artificial Intelligence) got started? Have you ever thought about how long AI has been around? AI (Artificial Intelligence is transforming the way we live, work, and connect.
Did You Know?
***Intentional***
1.
Alan Turing
According to
coursera.org. Alan Turing, a British mathematician, imagined a computing
machine, but lacked the technology to prove his theory at that time. They further added that during the summer of
1956 John McCarthy invited researchers for a summer-long workshop. During that summer he defined the practice of
human-like machines capable of human intelligence.
2.
The Universe
Are we the
only ones in the universe? Are we the
smartest ones in the universe? What is
the reason that the government cannot explain alien objects seen by millions of
people every year? Is everyone
hallucinating?
Have you
ever asked yourself how many galaxies are in the Universe? Sciencefocus.com states
that there could be as many as two trillion galaxies in the observable
universe. They further added that the
largest galaxy in the Universe is likely the ESO 383-76 supergiant elliptical
galaxy measures 1,764,000 light-years in diameter and is found in the Centaurus
Constellation, some 654 million light-years from Earth. Can you imagine? Can you also imagine that earth is not the
only intelligent life form in the Universe?
3.
Jobs Lost or Jobs Created with AI (Artificial
Intelligence)
How many
jobs will be lost because of AI (Artificial Intelligence)? How many jobs will be created because of AI
(Artificial Intelligence)? According to Forbes.com by 2030 an estimated 92
million jobs will be displaced by AI (Artificial Intelligence), but the same
report indicates that 170 million new jobs will be created because of AI(Artificial
Intelligence). They also added that you
should see expected growth including farm workers, delivery drivers,
construction workers, salespeople and food processing workers. So, does this
mean people may need to reinvent themselves to prepare for the new AI(Artificial
Intelligence) jobs?
4.
20 Jobs Created by AI (2025)
Twenty jobs
created by AI(Artificial Intelligence) include the following: AI (Artificial Intelligence)Prompt Engineer,
AI Model Trainer, AI Ethics Consultant, AI Behavior Analyst, Synthetic Medica
Designer, AI Integration Specialist, Digital Twin Architect, AI Safety Analyst,
Human-AI Collaboration Facilitator, Generative AI Educator, AI-Powered Content
Curator, AI- Generated Experience Designer, AI-Accountability Auditor, AI Personalization
Strategist, Data-Ecosystem Manager, Generative AI Voice Coach, AI Storyteller,
AI-Enhanced Productivity Coach, Emotion Recognition Specialist, and AI Bias
Remediation Specialist are all talked about at roboticsbiz.com.
5.
Should Movie Actors be concerned?
The Movie “Sweet
Idleness” is a new production led by an AI (Artificial Intelligence) Agent as
director, involving digital actors created from real people, and applied to the
project. According to msn.com. They further add that this is not intended
to replace traditional cinema, but rather it is an alternative method of
creation. Yet Variety.com states that
the acting guild believes ‘creativity is, and should remain, human-centered and
is opposed to the replacement of human performers by synthetics. This is something to think about. AI (Artificial Intelligence) has already been
infiltrated into the schools, the hospital, the television, telephones, and
much more. Still, it is not human, and
humans must oversee these applications.
Even when writing the auto-correct is not human it does not know so
human intervention is needed.
6.
AI
(Artificial Intelligence) Inventing Its Own Language
Did you know
that in 2017 during a Facebook research experiment instead of AI bots sticking
to proper English, the bots began modifying their speech in ways that were more
efficient for them but incomprehensible to humans. Facebook researchers then ended
the experiment and required the bots to use English for transparency and easier
monitoring. So just know that many of the chat boxes are
learning from us and adapting.
7.
Stocks
and Bonds AI (Artificial Intelligence)
Have you
purchased stocks and bonds lately? Good
news for AI (Artificial Intelligence) investors is that bond deals from Big
Tech companies have been in high demand, suggesting that investors are
confident in the ability of those companies to monetize AI (Artificial
Intelligence) and satisfy their obligations.
Morningstar.com talks about this.
They further added that the AI (Artificial Intelligence) bubble can last
for years because public pension funds, fueled by tax-receipt inflows, and
insurance companies are among the biggest buyers of investment-grate corporate
bonds, as they look to pick up yields that are higher than their income growth
mandates.
8.
30% AI (Artificial Intelligence Rule)
Do you know
what the 30% AI (Artificial Intelligence) Rule is? Cococoders.com talks about
this rule. This rule is a simple
guideline designed to help students (and adults!) use AI (Artificial
Intelligence responsibly. So, when you
are creating something-whether it is an essay, a project, or a piece of code-no
more than about 30% of the work should come directly from AI (Artificial
Intelligence) tools; the remaining 70% should come from the learner’s own
ideas, research, and effort. I would say
that is a good rule.
