What Does Gratitude Mean to You – Part 2?

Do You give thankful words of appreciation? It is not enough to just think it, you must show it. It is action. Oh you might say my family knows that I love them, but you must show it. Everyone loves to be shown appreciation at some time or another.

thankful and grateful

                                         Theme:         * * * Thankful* * *

T**Time

Are You thankful for the time that you have with your family? Life can be short. Babies
and children are dying. There are those that do not live to be 90 or 100 years of age. You are  blessed to be living.

H**Happiness

You are blessed to be given a choice to be happy. Even in the mist of a storm you
decide whether to be happy or sad. No you might not be happy all the time, but Thank God it is  a choice. I can remember times that I was not happy, but I prefer to move on and remember and  look forward to happy times.

A**Ageless

Romans 12:2. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the
renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God. Have you observed that people are living to be over 100 years old? Have you
observed there are people that appear a lot younger than they really are? The body ages
and that can be seen visibly such as gray hair, wrinkles, aches and pains, etc., but the
spirit in the body is ageless, because it can be renewed and regenerated daily, because
the word of God is alive. Hebrews 4:12. For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and
sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the diving asunder of soul and spirit,
and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Have you been around someone that they just seemed younger than their biological age? They even actually  act younger. You are seeing their youthful spirit.

According to Mayo Clinic stem cells generate healthy cells to replace diseased cells. Also stem cells are used for Cancer patients that have gone through chemotherapy. Their stem cells regenerate new healthy cells. They also suggest spinal cord injuries, type 1 diabetes, and more more can benefit from stem cells. Ise’t this amazing?

N**Natural

I am thankful for the natural things. Even though society has so much knowledge and
advancement there is evidence of the importance of natural ingredients for our survival without ingesting food preservatives that come in fast foods. There has been emphasis on the importance of natural foods for our health.

K**Knowledge

I am thankful for knowledge. Knowledge gives me understanding. It helps me to
make more informed decisions. With the increase of internet usage there is a vast amount
of knowledge available. Just remember to check the source because all knowledge is not
beneficial to you.

F** I am thankful for faith.

Some that do not have faith tend to just giveup on life. Hebrew ll:1.Now faith is the substance of things hope for, the evidence of things not seen. No you cannot see faith, but you believe and look forward to something coming to past. Faith gives you hope.
Think of the number of people that the doctors have said they could do nothing more for them, but because of their faith they are still here today and the doctors do not have a scientific explanation for it.

U* * Useful

I am so glad that God gave me discernment. I use my discernment all the time and it
is very useful. Have you ever had a gut feeling about something or someone? I definitely have.  God would help me discern and there were times that I ignored it and regretted it. So I am thankful and more aware of using discernment.

L**Laughter

I am thankful for laughter. Laughter is just so good for you. Proverbs 17:22. A merry
heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones. Have you observed how you feel after a good laugh? Do you have friends that have a knack for making you laugh? Or possibly you are the person making others laugh at an event. Steve Harvey stated that when he was a young boy in school he would make people laugh. His teacher stated he would never make money doing that, but look at him now. Some people are naturally funny. They do not have to work hard at it.  What does gratitude mean to you?
