5 Healthy Habits to Continue In 2020

Have you considered that there are super foods as well as exercise that can keep you healthy? Yes this combined with exercise.

Someone once said that you sometimes never rid yourself of habits, but you can replace them with good habits. Sometimes when you hear the word habit you might think about bad habits, but why not think about good habits? Good habits do exist and you can incorporate them in you your daily activities. It is your choice.

1. Rollerskating

Rollerskating is one of the other ways I will stay lean. Although I do not skate as often as I would like, I enjoy the times that I do. I started skating in elementary school. I would skate every week after school. At that time they had skates that would hook on to your regular shoes as shown in the picture above. I hated those. Eventually I skated well and requested shoe skates one Christmas. They were so much better.

According to FitnessMagazine, depending on your size a 150 pound person can burns 482 calories per hour skating. So just imagine when you skate several hours how many calories you are burning.

B. Benefits of Skating:

1. Rollerskating does burn calories.

2. A good form of exercise

3. Listening to the music is good therapy while rollerskating

4. It provides hand, body, movement and coordination

Now skating may not be your choice of exercise, but do find an exercise that works for you whether it be walking, cardio, or something different.

2. Super foods

Did you know there are super foods that can help you to become a healthier you?
Yes fish, leafy greens, olive oil, and whole grains according to health.harvard.edu. They further add that leafy greens contain vitamin A and C, and Calcium.

The Bible Tells us in Genesis 1:29 God said, “I have given you every plant with seeds on the face of the earth and every tree that has fruit with seeds. This will be your food.

3. Vinegar

Do you use vinegar?  Vinegar has known to improve blood sugar and improve cholesterol levels according to health usnews.com. I can also add that I soak my ribs and my roast beef in vinegar before cooking. I have observed that the meat turns out very tender.  You have got to try it.

4. Muscle Cramps

Have You ever suffered with muscle cramps? I know I have had leg cramps occasionally in the past. Try eating melons.    Melons are loaded with potassium, magnesium, calcium, and little sodium, and a lot of water according to webmd.com. I love melons and watermelon too.

5. New Recipes

Are you open to creating or finding new healthy recipes? You may discover recipes that you can create that will make for a healthier you. Maybe you might want to make it a point to look for new healthy recipes. Possibly set a goal of 1 a week or 1 a month. Stay updated and remember that you are never too old to learn.

Thank you for linking up at Traffic Jam Weekend. My habit I am working on in 2020 is incorporating more super foods and healthier eating to get my autoimmune disease and chronic inflammation under control. Well and to just plain be healthier and set a better example for my teenagers.
