4. Breast Cancer Wreath

One way that I love to show breast Cancer Awareness is with a Breast Cancer Wreath. The one showing below is one that I ordered very inexpensively through Amazon. I really love this wreath. I hang it on my front door proudly.

5. Sit With A Cancer Patient During Treatment

If you have a relative or friend that is going through chemo treatments, Just sitting with them during the treatment, can give them great support. Sometimes the chemo treatments may be just about 20 minutes during a session, while at other times, it may be up to 3 hours or more. Every patient’s timing and situation may vary. If you have never gone through this, you can learn a lot just sitting and talking with others that are going through this.

I recall an acquaintance that shared with me of going to her Cancer treatments by herself. I was so surprised because I knew she had relatives. She shared that that was the way she wanted it and she was okay with that. She was now Cancer free and okay. This let me know that everyone approaches their Cancer differently and I should respect that.

6. More Tips for Breast Cancer

Read and learn about the latest technology in Breast Cancer. Dormant cancer cells are cells that did not die from a person’s initial treatment. The cells can ‘hibernate” undetected for unknown reasons until they begin to grow again. That is why they are often told during treatment to get plenty of rest as the immune system is quite affected. The child that has cancer affects the entire family.
