There is a
particular doctor that is the above all doctors. He is the doctor
that will succeed when your doctor tells you, “ I have done all that
I can do.” This particular doctor has supernatural powers that
may not be explained by science or what you see. This doctor is
Jesus.
Promises:
Hebrew 13:5, “I
will never leave you nor forsake you.” When the doctor has given
his diagnosis, and says there is nothing more that he can do, because
of this scripture you can be assured that GOD CAN and that GOD LOVES
YOU. There have been numerous testimonies of those that were told
they would never walk again, but by the grace of God they did indeed
walk again. Ofttimes doctors cannot explain it or have no
explanation for it.
Peace:
John 14:27 Peace I
leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I
give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be
afraid. Has there been a time during your life when you did not have
any peace? Have your problems been more that you thought that you
could bear? Sometimes you may be looking for peace in all the wrong
places. Some have looked for peace by drinking alcohol or taking
drugs. In some instances this only made matters worse. Drugs
whether prescription or non prescription can take a toll on the body.
I recall acquaintances that drink so much, it seemingly aged them
quite fast and made them appear much older than they really were.
Jesus is a doctor that can give you that inner peace. He will not
come where he is not invited. So you just need to ask him for that
peace that you desire and believe that He will give it to you.
Remember the peace will come in God's time not necessarily yours. We
sometimes become impatient and want what we want right now. Can you
identify with that?
New Creation:
2 Corinthian 5:17,
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things
have passed away; behold, all things have become new. It is like
having your slate wiped cleaned. Jesus accepts you as you are. You do not have to be cleaned up
and perfect. Maybe others have told you that you will never amount
to anything. Jesus will clean you up, wipe your slate clean and
make you a new creature, as if you had never done anything negative.
Isn’t that wonderful?
Your Needs:
Philippians 4:19
And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in
glory by Christ Jesus. Just because we want something, does not
necessarily mean that we will get it. There is a difference between
wants and needs. In this day and age you may want something right
now. You may not want to wait on it or do the necessary
preparation to obtain it. Have you ever wanted something and said,
“I need it now?” Did you really need it or possibly just wanted
it. I cannot think of a time that God did not supply my need. Look
at the scripture above carefully. It says “need not needs.”
Sometimes God may give you what you need as oppose to what you want,
because what you want may not be good for you at the time. Think
about it. Have you ever told your children “No” to something
that they asked you for? Did you tell them they were not ready to
handle that yet?
What has Jesus done
for you? Is there another topic you would like me to share with
you?
