How many of you know that AI (artificial intelligence) is here and growing faster than leaps and bounds. There is no denying it. It is in every facet of your life.
Don’t Worry.....
***Purpose***
1. ChatGPT
ChatGPT can
help you find the best price at a nearby store and compare your options. This is also an option to ask if you only
wanted to purchase an item online. This
information is free for the time being.
2. ChatGPT Images
You can
create ChatGPT images by just entering the name of the image you want it to
create and within a matter of seconds it is done.
3. ChatGPT Meaning
Do you know
what the GPT means? It stands for
Generative Pre-Trained Transformer. This describes the AI’s ability to generate
text using a pre-trained neural network model.
4. Who or What Created ChatGPT?
ChatGPT was
created by an artificial intelligence research laboratory consisting of OpenAI
Inc, a non-profit, and Open AI Limited Partnership (Open AI LP), a for-profit
subsidiary, according to howtogeek.com.
They further added that ChatGPT is an AI model that uses deep learning
to generate human-like text based on prompts from users like you. Again, I say even though it is artificial
intelligence it is not human. It is
human like and, in many instances, may fool the human eye which is another story.
5. Who Is Suing ChatGPT?
Although
there are benefits to ChatGPT there are cons as well. According to msn.com the lawsuit claims that
Phoenix Ikner, the alleged gunman who was a 20-year-old FSU (Florida State
University) student at the time, used ChatGPT to input and assist to
carry-out the shooting that killed two people and wounded six others. They further went on to say that the
information that was provided to the shooter had it been provided to a human
possibly a human would have checked on him, it possibly may have been prevented. Is it possible we are receiving too much
information too fast without knowing or being able to be responsible for it;
almost like giving a child information too soon before they can handle the
information properly. There are numerous
other lawsuits against ChatGPT as well.
6. ChatGPT free vs Paid
Which is
better, free or paid ChatGPT? It really
depends on what your goals are. ChatGPT free is for users that use ChatGPT
sparingly and have no need for advanced features, chat GPT Go is for light
users who are happy with the free version, but occasionally run into usage
limits, ChatGPT plus, is for daily users who need multimodal input and output
with extended limits. These are talked
about at Nexos.ai.
7. ChatGPT
mobile app
Do you have
the ChatGPT mobile app? Some of the
benefits of the ChatGPT mobile app include, craft engaging and polished
content, composing of emails and professional documents, access to quick and
accurate answers, translating text across multiple languages, getting
personalized recommendations, simplify learning and studying, generating fresh
ideas and solutions, practice conversations and language skills, solve math and
coding problems, and organizing tasks and managing time effectively.
8. ChatGPT More Cons
Although
ChatGPT has several benefits it also has its cons such as hallucinations,
inaccuracy of information, dependency, the erosion of critical thinking, data
privacy, legal exposure, reinforcement of stereotypes, usage limits,
inconsistent performance, manipulation, cybersecurity risks, impact of
employment, water consumption, energy consumption, and copyright, legal
uncertainty. This is talked about at
projectmanagers.net.
9. ChatGPT Water Consumption
Did you know
that ChatGPT uses four times more water than previously thought? According to thetimes.com there was an
underestimation because of the AI expansion of AI products and services that
has led to an increase in data center workloads and the associated water
footprint required to cool them efficiently.
They further added the water UK (United Kingdom) has calculated that the
new data centers built in Britain in the next five years could need the same
amount of water as 500,000 people.
10. ChatGPT Inaccuracies
Has ChatGPT
inaccuracies gotten worse? According to
popsci.com new studies show that GPT appears to be getting less accurate over
time. They further added that when it
came to computer code generation, the ability to generate computer code got
worse between March and June.
11. ChatGPT vs Google Gemini
Which is
better ChatGPT or Google Gemini? That
is a good question. You might be surprised at the answer. As far as pricing Gemini is a better value
compared to ChatGPT because ChatGPT does not offer anything similar to Google
Gemini cloud storage or robust suite of integration in Google Workspace apps. Pcmag.com
further added that ChatGPT can easily search for up-to-date information on the
web, automatically include pictures in responses when relevant and adds
article tiles at the bottom for further reading, whereas Gemini doesn’t. So finally, pcmag.com concluded that Google
Gemini was their overall pick even though both ChatGPT and Google Gemini are
powerful. Ultimately, I believe it will
depend on what your needs are for a Chatbot.
Everyone’s needs are different. Keep in mind new Chat boxes are evolving
constantly. One AI that I came across is Claude.
12. Claude AI
What is Claude? Claude AI was developed and owned by Anthropic, founded in 2021 by former Open AI researchers Dario and Daniella Amodei, with a clear mission for safe and responsible AI. Dailydigitalgrin.com talks about this. They further added that for the future of AI they are concerned about Ethics and Safety and accountability as opposed to mainly profits. So ChatGPT and Google Gemini as well may have some competition to expect.
