Your Blood Does Have a Voice

Yes your blood has a voice. A lot can be determined from taking a blood test. The next time that your blood is drawn or you donate blood remember how important the blood is.

                                                                DNA

1. Jury Duty

When I served jury duty for a rape-hijacking case, many of the jurors including myself questioned why we were on a case that occurred about 8 years or more ago. We were told that DNA (Deoxyribonucleic acid, or does not apply, or do not accept) testing had not been discovered at that time. So when it became available they tested the raped kits and found a match. This showed me even though the crime occurred several years ago, the blood still had a voice.

2. Blood Cries Out

In Genesis 4:10 the Lord speaks about how Abel's blood cries out to Him.  So this is nothing new about the blood having a voice. What is new is that man has discovered how to prove it scientifically. Man is always looking for scientific proof. God has asked believers to believe by faith.

3. DNA

Have you ever wondered why the doctor's and hospital's do blood testing? Have you ever watched a movie where the robber or killer used gloves so as not to leave any finger prints at the scene? Blood tests can reveal diabetes, paternity, cancer, your heritage, and many diseases. The blood does have a voice. Your blood has it's own individual voice. Remember that the next time your blood is tested.

4. Is Your Bone Marrow Important?

Have you given any thought about your bone marrow? Do you know where your bone marrow is located in your body? How would you survive without bone marrow?

Unless you know of someone that needs a bone marrow donor or possibly you have a problem with your bone marrow, you may not think about the major role it has in your life.

Leviticus17:11, “For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.” I have often read this scripture. When I was younger, I did not quite understand the importance of the blood to the body. Just think over 100 years ago who would have known that DNA testing would help determine paternity or even help discover diseases of the blood?  Yes your bone marrow is important.

5. Bone Marrow Transplant

Did you know that more than 20 billion new blood cells are produced everyday throughout your life? That is according to Cancer.net. It is further stated that while chemotherapy destroys the fatty tissue inside larger bones there are Hematopoietic stem cells found in the bone marrow that are collected, frozen, and then reintroduced into the blood stream after the chemotherapy where they multiply and grow new and healthy cells. The great thing about this is that a person can receive his or her own stem cells. Stem Cells are so vital in creating new healthy cells. The fact that a person can receive their own stem cells to do this is even more awesome. I I do know of friends that have had this done successfully.

According to Livestrong.com you require and average of 46 to 56 grams of protein daily to help sustain healthy bone marrow. They further add that meat, poultry, fish, dairy foods, legumes, and vegetables are good sources to get this daily protein. I make it a point to eat some of these foods daily.

6. Bone Marrow Recipe

Did you know that there is such a thing as bone marrow food? According to Paleoleap.com, bone marrow food is a creamy food that is very pleasing in taste and can be found in the bones of beef, deer, elk or caribou. They further state that traditional cultures all over the world highly value this.  I am convinced that bone marrow is very important to sustaining life.
