New Information About Your Brain

Have you ever experienced Brain Fog? Numerous Chemo Patients have complained about Brain Fog? Brain Fog is real.  Do you want more brainpower?

What You Need to Know. . . .

***Intentional***

1. What Is brain fog?

Do you know what brain fog is? Brain fog is confusion, forgetfulness, and a lack of focus and mental clarity that can be caused by overworking, lack of sleep, stress, and spending too much time on the computer. This is according to bangkokinternationalhospital.com. They further add that brain fog can be rooted in a lifestyle that promotes hormonal imbalances and is exacerbated by stress, electromagnetic radiation from computers, mobile phones, or tablets.

2. COVID-19 and Chemotherapy

Did you know that brain fog can occur after Chemotherapy? my.clevelandclinic.org., talks about new research that shows that brain fog is a result of the virus living in your gut after infection symptoms resolve. They further add that after chemotherapy your immune system could cause inflammation in your brain that temporarily blocks or makes it more difficult for your body to process information. So apparently there still could be problems after Chemotherapy and after COVID-19.

3. Supplements

According to wholebodyhealthchiropractic.com Vitamin D, B-Complex Vitamins, Omega-3Fatty Acids, and Magnesium can help with brain fog. They further add that our brains rely on a steady supply of key nutrients to function optimally. Be sure to consult with your physician first.

4. Exercise

Do you want more brain power?  Ucfhealth.com talks about most people thinking of exercise as an activity that benefits the body’s muscles, but aerobic exercise causes the brain to go into overdrive and release Adrenalin into the blood. They further add that when Adrenalin and energy are delivered to the brain, memory is typically enhanced.

5. More Ways to Clear Brain Fog

Several ways to clear up brain fog may include setting yourself up for quality sleep, be active throughout the day, try retraining your brain, aim for a balanced diet, manage stress, and getting your COVID-19 booster. They further add that getting vaccinated may not prevent you from getting COVID-19 but it may lower the odds of developing long COVID. That makes sense to me.

I recall a relative testing positive for COVID before planning a trip. My relative did not get the COVID booster and stated how bad she felt with this COVID. I could see getting the COVID shot and the booster as well because as previously stated with this virus a person could have it and spread it to another without any symptoms. Although viruses can be dangerous having the COVID virus and spreading it unknowingly is even more dangerous.

6. What is Long COVID Brain Fog?

Experts at yalemedicine.org., states that COVID Brain Fog condition can affect anyone who has had COVID, regardless of their age or the severity of their initial COVID infection and that it usually goes away completely between six and nine months after the infection, even though some have stated that it lasts as long as 18 months or more. That is a long time.

7. Immortality

Ecclesiastes 12:7 And the dust returns to the earth as it was, and the spirit returns to God who gave it. Even though the Bible states that your flesh will eventually die and that your spirit will live on forever with God, man is continually looking through science for a way to stay on earth eternally. Have you ever heard a Christian say, “This world is not my home, I am just passing through?” According to analyticsindiamag.com, Elon Musk imagines a neuralink brain to computer interface where it retains all of your memories and brain state, so even if your physical body dies, you can kind of reincorporate in another physical body and retain. . . pretty much your original memories. They further add that the current Neuralink has about 1,000 electrodes, but you ultimately need 100,000 or a million electrodes. Wow!! Your body is intricately and wonderfully made.

8. Uploading Your Brain to a Computer??????

There are those that say the science of the brain and of consciousness suggests that, in theory, we can transfer consciousness to a machine, however, conventional ideas on mind uploading rely on scanning our postmortem brains, where “we” are not the ones who live on. This is talked about at researchfeatures.com.

9. Technology’s Effects on the Brain

Does Technology effect the brain? Boonecenter.pepperdine.edu talks about this. Technology use can create structural changes in the brain, technology use can wear out the pleasure center of the brain, technology use can reduce physical activity, technology use can hinder the memory, and technology use can reduce sleep.

10. Technology and the Pleasure Center

Did you know that Technology use can wear out the Pleasure Center of Your Brain? According to boonecenter.pperdine.edu when you take in near-constant technological inputs of text messages, YouTube videos, pictures, or video games, the brain’s pleasure centers (ventral tegmental area, nucleus accumbens, and basal ganglia) can become hyperstimulated by dopamine (the neurotransmitter released in response to pleasure or excitement. They further add that this overstimulation can make the brain’s pleasure center less responsive to other enjoyable experiences, such as eating a meal, reading a book, having a conversation, or holding hands.

Have you ever sat in the doctor or dentist office and observed the number of people on their cellphones? I recall waiting in a medical office where testing was being done. I opted rather than being on my cellphone to strike a conversation with several that came in with surgical boots on their feet and leg. The conversation was interesting in that each person had a different story to tell regarding their situation. Sometimes it is good to just listen. You may learn you are not alone in your situation and that circumstances happen in life. The one lady said she was playing with her grandchildren outside and slipped on some acorns and fractured her foot. Who would have thought? What new information have you learned about your brain?
