How many of you have
been on a weight-loss journey for what seems like ages? Are you
finding it difficult to lose the weight? I have discovered an app
that I just love.
plan for weight loss |
This Tracker2Go App
helps me to plan for weight loss by keeping track of my calorie intake.
The best part about this app is that it is free. I am intentional
regarding my weight loss. I discovered I have gained 12 pounds since
last year and the majority of it is in my stomach. How many of
us know “if it was not for free?”
BMI (Body Mass
Index)
I discovered that my
(BMI) body mass index is okay, but it is on the borderline of not
being okay if there is more weight gain to my waist. According to the American Heart Association
an unhealthy body mass can result in heart disease, certain cancers,
raised blood pressure, and cholesterol as well. Listed below is a BMI Calculator found at the American Heart Association. You can calculate your BMI.
Intentional
I am quite
intentional. I don't like a muffin-top. It would be ideal if you
could send the fat where you want it to go. I have decided besides
being vigilant with my FREE Tracker2GoApp, I have been doing 100
stomach crunches a day. I started doing these on September 18, 2015.
I believed it was not enough to just exercise and walk, but that I
needed to take a look at my diet. I discovered I could no longer eat
like I used to eat. There needed to be some changes made.
Food
I started using
this app on September 28, 2015. I like that the Tracker app keeps a
daily dairy for you of your food intake. All you do is enter the
food you eat at each meal, it then calculates the number of calories
for each food item and lets you know how many remaining calories you
have before meeting your target calorie deadline for the day. For
example yesterday for breakfast I had papaya juice-130 calories,
oatmeal 102 calories, and margarine in the oatmeal 26 calories.
Sometimes I will change it to a slice of bacon and maybe a boiled egg
or pancakes. That was just for breakfast. The good thing about the
tracker is I decide what and how much I eat. If I eat more during
lunch, I may eat less at dinner. I always have a running tally of
where I am at with my eating.
Exercise
There is a chart for
exercise also which helps with your calorie intake. Now yesterday I
walked for about 20 minutes. So when calculated on my app it added
52 calories for my allowance in addition to the calorie target that I
had already chosen. I like that I always know where I stand as far
as my calorie intake with just a glance at my diary on my app.
Charts
It also readily
compiles your diary by day, month, and year, and even makes charts
for you showing your energy target.
Although the
tracker is relatively new for me, I will keep you updated on my journey. I am very excited about it and I have lost 2 pounds thus far.

You are most welcome Terri. Have a blessed day.
What a cool app. I find calorie tracking to be tedious but I can see how this app would make it much easier to do!
Thanks for sharing (and for linking up to the #SHINEbloghop).
Wishing you a lovely day.
