foaming hand sanitizer |
***Good
News***
Even
though we are living in a pandemic it could be worse. Have hope that
it will get better.
Personally
I use clorox wipes to wipe surfaces down. I find it to be very
effective. I also carry hand sanitizer with me at all times.
According to nytimes.com there
may be a possibility that this coronavirus was predicted in 1981.
They further add that the the novel "The Eyes of Darkeness," speaks
about the Chinese city where COVID-19 originated and suggests it was the
perfect military weapon to wipe out a city or country. It is said
this novel was fictional, but the similarities as to what is
happening today are so close.
Although the United States is presently dealing with the Coronavirus the last pandemic disease that emerged in the United States was in 1911 according to En.Wikipedia.org., the Cholera occurred in New York City. They further add it was called the blue death because a person’s skin would turn blueish-gray because of extreme loss of fluids.
According
to cnbc.com the Coronavirus is spread when someone with the virus
coughs or exhales, there is a release of droplets of infected fluid
that can land on nearby surfaces like desk, tablets, or telephones,
thus causing possible infection with another person who may come in
contact.
I
am sure that the official below was not aware at the time that as she
warned others to keep their hands away from their mouth, she was
doing just the opposite as she turned the pages. It is possibly
something she normally does when turning pages of paper.
What
Can You Do?
1.
Pray
Pray
first of all. Do not wait until you think you might have a cold,
flu, or virus. According to Huffington.com prayer and
meditation can influence our state of mind, which then have an effect
on our state of body, and over time can change the brain activity.
I agree. I am a living witness to the number of times that I have
prayed when I thought there was no way out and God made a way for me. Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong
and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord
they God, it is he that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee,
nor forsake thee.
2. Wash hands
According
to conehealthmedicalgroup.com you should wash your hands thoroughly
for at least 20 seconds. That is something I remembered when my twin
grandchildren were born. They were kept in the neon-natal unit. It
was stressed to parents and grandparents to wash and lather hands at
least 20 seconds before entering to see the babies. Also, recently I watched Dr.
Oz on the Jimmy Fallon Show. Dr. Oz. Gave a demonstration how he as
a surgeon scrubs his hands before surgery. I learned a lot.
3.
Cover the Cough
There
has been much emphasis on television to cover that sneeze or cough
with your elbow.
4.
Stop Shaking Hands
There
has been much emphasis to not shake hands, but rather do fist bumps.
I have not only stopped shaking hands, but also stopped during fist
bumps. My words can be just as effective. That touch is not always
necessary.
5. Sanitize
Sanitize
your surroundings. Although there are numerous school and business
closings, when you find yourself at a table sanitize it. When in
the doctors office use sanitizer. In fact bring your own with you.
Carry sanitizer with you. I just recently went to the polls to
vote. I used my own pen. When I am grocery shoppings if my
signature is needed at checkout I use my own pen.
6.
Do not touch eyes, hand, and mouth
This
is easier said than done. So you need to be vigilant and be aware
and in the moment of what you are doing. This is something that
should not be taking for granted.
7. Stay Home
Finally, above all if you
feel sick please stay home.
