Bloggers Meet and Greet February 2018. . Super Blue Moon

Were you able to witness the Super Blue Moon on January 31, 2018? It was only visible in certain areas. I really wanted to see it, but it was too cloudy in my areas. I can say though that I did get to witness the last blood red moon and it was awesome.

Rare Blue Moon

At today's Meet and Greet I will talk about the Super Blue Moon.

1. Super Blue Moon

According to CNN.com this Super Blue Moon was visible for the first time in about 152 years. In addition, they added that Australia, Asia, and parts of Russia were able to see it about 5:51 in the morning on January 31, 2018.

2.  What is the Super Blue Moon?

According to the Sun.com.uk a Blue moon is when there is an  occurrence of 2 full moons within a month. Fortunately that did occur on January 31, 2018. They further add that a Super Blue Moon occurs when it is closet to the earth. So this Super Blue Moon was something special for those that were able to see it.
