Are you a believer? Do you believe in miracles? Not everyone does. Have you experienced a miracle? Have you expected a miracle in your life?

Have there been instances in your life where the doctor nor scientists could explain about miraculous recoveries or happenings? Are you a living witness that miracles do happen?

What exactly is a miracle? En.wikipedia.org., describes a miracle as an event that is inexplicable by natural or scientific laws and accordingly gets attributed to some supernatural or preternatural cause.

1. My Testimony

Yes I believe in miracles. I recall when my niece was in college my daughter had a mini-fridge that she was not using. So we decided to give it to her to use as she was just starting college. As we drove on the highway I prepared to take the exit only to be surprised by hitting black ice. My card slid and I was headed off the road on to the next highway below. It happened really fast. There was a lot of snow on the embankment so instead of falling on the next highway below my car ran into all the snow in the embankment. Now some may say this was luck, but I say thank God it was a miracle. My children and my niece and a passerby actually were able to push my car out of the snow back on to the road. I was filled with gratitude and very thankful.

2. Changing Water to Wine

John 2:1-ll. They ran out of wine at the wedding. Jesus instructed the servants to fill the six stone water jars with water. Miraculously when taken to the banquet and tasted it was no longer water but wine. They emphasized that normally they bring out the best wine first and the cheaper wine later after the guest had had too much to drink. This did not happen in this case. They had the good wine. Scientist may or may have not attempted to explain how this happened, but I believe this was a miracle that Jesus performed.

3. Lazarus Raised from the Dead

John 11:38-44. Lazarus had been dead 4 days. That is usually long enough for there to be a stench. Jesus commanded him to come forward. He was now alive after that. Now I was not there. There have been various theories that Lazarus had taken some type of herb that just gives the appearance of death. In modern medicine people have been placed in comas or have been declared brain dead and taken off ventilators, but I have never heard of someone other than Lazarus being dead for 4 days and brought back to life. So I believe Lazarus was an example of another miracle.

4. Parting of the Red Sea

Exodus 14. I am sure scientists are attempting to explain this miracle. Moses was able to lift up his rod and stretch his hand over the sea. Again miraculously the sea divided long enough for him to lead his people forward on dry land safely to their destination and then after they crossed the Red Sea Moses brought the water back down onto Pharaoh's army of chariots as they attempted to go after Moses and his people.

5. Different Types of Miracles

Did you know that there are different types of miracles? Several different types of miracles may include healing, exorcism, nature-related, and restoration miracles. These are talked about in AI overview. They further added that turning water into wine would be considered a nature miracle and raising the dead as a restoration miracle.

Do you know how many miracles that Jesus performed? According to sunnyhillschurch.com Jesus performed 37 miracles.

7. Jesus Calms the storm

According to Matthew 8:23-27, Mark 4:35-41, and Luke 8:22-25 when Jesus and his disciples were in the boat on the Sea of Galilee a storm erupted. Jesus was asleep, but was awakened by his frightened disciples. It states in the scripture that Jesus rebukes the wind and waves with his word, and the storm immediately subsides.

7. Mysterious Rescue

In March 2015 Utah rescuers heard an adult yelling “Help me!” from inside a car that had crashed. The rescuers found an 18-month-old Lily suspended above the freezing water in her car seat. Lilly’s mother had died in the crash. According to pureflix.com there is no way she could have been calling and Lilly was too young to talk. Lilly had been hanging upside down for more than 14 hours and would not have survived much long had it not been for the mysterious voice.

8. Jesus Heals Woman With An Issue of Blood

Can you imagine suffering with an issue of blood for 12 years? That is a long time. Mark 5:25-34. This particular woman had been to many physicians as her condition conditioned to get worse not better. She had faith in that if she touched the hem of Jesus’s robe she would be healed. According to the scripture when she touched the hem of his garment she was healed immediately. Can you imagine being healed from a chronic disease immediately? I would say that was no coincidence or no luck, but indeed a miracle. Now I am sure scientist may attempt to find a scientific reasoning for what happened, but there are so many miracles and incidences that science just cannot explain no matter how hard scientists may try. Miracles cannot always be explained, but when they occur everyone is usually happy, because seemingly they happen right on time. I know the miracle I experienced when driving was right on time, because for a split second I thought my car and everyone in it was going to land on the other highway instead of going into the snow embankment.
