How Many Ways Can You Be Kind?

Do you know what the world needs now? I am sure many have their own opinions. Some would say this others would say that. What about kindness? Could the world need just a little more kindness?

WORDS OF KINDNESS

*** Good News***

There are numerous ways to show kindness. It does not take “rocket science thinking” either.

1. Smile at someone today

2. Tell someone about Jesus

3. Encourage someone today

4. Pay for someone’s groceries ahead of you in line

5. Shovel or snow-blow someone’s sidewalk

I recall a young man going through our neighborhood snow-blowing the entire block for neighbors. Of course his father was not aware and was upset when he found out. He told his son, “I told you to snow blow our sidewalk not the entire neighborhood.” The young man only did a good deed. He never meant any harm. I know that.

26. Write a letter of encouragement

I recall we had a blessing ceremony at our church. This was new to me. I wrote down and read blessings over my children and grandchildren. My daughter was so touched that she asked to have the blessings that I wrote so she could keep them.

I recall telling my daughter she was beautiful. She did not believe me. Her response was, “You have to tell me that because you are my mother.” She did not realize at the time that it was true. She was and is beautiful.
