Have you thought about everyone may think they are right. The unvaccinated may feel they are right and the fully vaccinated feel that they are right. Is there a right or wrong?
***THOUGHTS***
I recall that I did not get fully vaccinated right away. I waited. Now that I am fully vaccinated I am glad that I am. The problem with waiting as you may have already heard from others, waiting may be too late. I see countless number of people on the news stating they were waiting and they caught the COVID-19 virus. There are those that are in the hospital with the virus stating they wish they would have gotten the vaccination. There are those whose loved ones young and old died before getting the vaccination.
1. Guinea Pigs
I have heard some of the unvaccinated say they do not want to be a guinea pig for the government. That has been a major concern of some. I wonder do they realize if they take any type of medication whether it be aspirin, antacid tabs, or allergy over the counter meds there are possible side effects?
2. Benefits Outweigh
I wonder have the unvaccinated considered that the benefits of vaccination outweigh not getting the vaccination? Yes there may be side effects from the vaccination, but without the vaccination there may be imminent death?
3. Statistics
According to KFF.com as of late May 2021 the unvaccinated adults are a shrinking population in the United States consisting of about one third of the adults (37%). They further add that 14% are black, 19% are Hispanic, and 56% are White.
4. Doing Your Part
I wonder have have the unvaccinated considered that it is not just about them? The unvaccinated and the vaccinated make up a community. Everyone needs each other. The vaccinated cannot do it alone. The unvaccinated are an integrate part of healing from this dreadful disease. Possibly the unvaccinated need to change their way of thinking. Instead of thinking of themselves as Guinea Pigs think of themselves as doing their part to not give this infectious disease to another such as a friend, relative, or immediate family member. That was one of my main motivation to get vaccinated. I would hate to unknowingly carry it and give it to my family member or friend. I especially would hate to give it to a child. Children have not even begun to live their lives.
5. Wait and See
There are those unvaccinated that want to wait and see before getting vaccinated. The problem with that is that you may wait too late. There is a new strain the Delta Variant that is affecting many of the young people. Young people that are dying before they have a chance to live even part of their life.
6. Inocculations starting to pickup
Did you know that despite the fact there are those that remain unvaccinated inoculations have started to pickup according to wbaltv.com? Also the increase is even sharper in Southern states. Is it possible that the unvaccinated have decided to stop waiting and start taking action to get vaccinated before it is too late?
7. Lack of Trust
There are those that are unvaccinated that feel a lack of trust in the vaccine. They are fearful of the unknown. In reality if the unvaccinated will look at the statistics the new strain the Delta Variant is more deadlier and seemingly is affecting more young people. In the beginning the COVID-19 was killing the elderly and those with compromised immune systems. Now it seemingly has moved on to the younger generation. This is sad because the young people are the future for the world. To have them die early is sad and detrimental to society.
8. Unvaccinated putting the vaccinated at Risk
Fauci at pbs.org., states, “We would not be in this situation if we already had the overwhelming proportion of the population vaccinated.” So it is so important for the unvaccinated to get vaccinated. You play an integral part to heal everyone from this deadly virus.
As I watched the news ABC news, they stated there are 741 COVID-19 hospitalizations in Michigan.
9. COVID deaths in the US are unvaccinated
The apnews states that Ross Bagne, a 68-year-old did not get the vaccine, was hospitalized and died. They further stated that he never went out so he didn’t think he would catch it. His sister wondered, “Why take the risk of not getting vaccinated.” Note they further added that in Seattle’s King County, only 3 deaths were found during a recent 60-day period of people who were fully vaccinated. The rest, some 95% of 62 deaths, had no vaccine or just one shot. There is something to the science.
10. Delta Variant
Did you know that the Delta Variant is much more deadlier than the first COVID-19 disease? Dr. Amesh A. Adaija at healthline stated, “What makes the variant worrisome is the fact that it is a more contagious verson of COVID-19 and will find unvaccinated individuals and infect them at a high rate.” It is further added that that is exactly what is occurring in places such as Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas, and Florida, where local leaders have resisted basic precautions like mask mandates and vaccination rates among young adults remain low.
Vaccinating is a matter of life and death not only to an individual, but to a community and to a global civilization. A person’s decision to not get vaccinated knowing that they could possibly be a carrier of the infectious disease, feeling perfectly fine, is very disturbing. Just to be aware that you could carry it to your loved one or friend unknowingly is even more disturbing. Remember the vaccination is not just about you, but about helping a global community survive.
NOTE:
Remember how the front line workers have put their life on the line to save others. To the unvaccinated you may wait, but don’t wait until it is too late.
What are your thoughts? I would love to hear from the unvaccinated as well as those already vaccinated.

I was a bit wait and see but we had zero cases. Now with Delta running wild, I've rushed out and even got one of the under 18s vaxxed, the youngest still not allowed here, because the risks and ease of transmission is too great. It's a crazy disease and half the damage is done AFTER you've recovered. What a night mare!
