Although there will
be celebration of parades, barbecuing, going on picnics and many
other festivities on this day, it still holds a double meaning for
me. Read more at anointedtoday.blogspot.com
Labor Day:
My first child was
born on labor day. Although I really wanted some barbecue that
morning, I knew the doctor said not to eat if you suspect you are in
labor. Although we were timing the contractions, I did not want to
get to the hospital too early. Little did I know that once I was in
the hospital my baby was born within 20 minutes. My daughter has been swift and excelling in everything she does since her birth. I am so proud of her. That is a Labor Day
that I will never forget.
Labor Day is a
holiday that honors the contributions and movements of those that
have strengthen and promoted the well-being of our country.
