The devil is real and he wants to kill your children. John 10:10 He will deceive you and them just to get what he wants. He knows what your children like. He tempts them with all kinds of alluring evil. He makes it appear very desirable by using the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of life. 1st John 2:16
Encouragement
Blessings to your children can be encouraging and uplifting. They do become realities, which they can rely on throughout life. Each child is different. You may have special blessings for each according to their personality. There are numerous blessings in the Bible.
Blessed Life
Children can have a blessed life knowing that they are blessed. By blessing your children they can be given the wisdom and knowledge to make wise choices throughout life. They can be blessed to hear and receive the word of God which will become a reality into their lives. They can be blessed to be a blessing to their children and to the rest of their family throughout generation after generation.
Cursed
There is more than enough negativity in the world. Everyone might not like your children and the negative things said about them are a curse in themselves. Blessings can break the curses. Speaking good and positive things over your children blesses them. Children are a blessing, so why not give them a blessing and bless them?
Confusion
Blessing your children will keep down confusion. The devil is the author of confusion. If the devil can deceive you and keep you confused about who you are, he will do it.
Power In God’s Words
God’s word is alive. Speaking God’s word is the best blessing, because it actually comes to fruition. Romans 4:17 Speak those things which be not as though they were. Children want good things to be said over them. Can you blame them for that? Words have power. God’s words have even more power. Children understand the blessing. They want to be blessed. If God is for you, who can be against you? Matt. 19:13-15 Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me.” Children understand about Jesus. The greatest thing a parent can give their child is the knowledge and receiving of Jesus Christ into their lives.
Drugs
Bless your children to feel good about themselves. Drugs are rampant in the world today. It is nothing to see drugs in the elementary schools. There was a time that this was not thought of. Children are searching for something to help them feel good about themselves. Blessings can give them that security blanket and the wisdom that they need to feel good about themselves. It can give them the stability to not need to rely on a drugs or a pimp, but to stand firmly on their own two feet. Blessings can affirm the value of children; letting them know that they are valued and that Jesus loves them.
